KOCH CRYSTAL FINISHING

Spectral Range: 0.5 to 20 µm

Wave Number Range: 20,000 to 500 cm^-1

Solubility: Insoluble in water. It does not "fog" in humid lab environments.

Chemical Stability: Highly resistant to most organic solvents and dilute acids. However, it should not be used with strong mineral acids.

Handling: While it doesn't dissolve, ZnSe is a soft material (Mohs 4). It can be easily scratched if wiped with abrasive materials. Always use a "drop and drag" cleaning method with high-purity acetone or methanol. 

Melting Point: 1,525°C

Thermal Conductivity: High (0.18 W/cm\cdot K at 298 K). This makes it excellent for dissipating heat in high-power laser systems.
